No Limits is committed to supporting the ongoing professional development of all our staff, as a result we currently run the following heavily subsidised/free training programmes for staff:
The aim of the day is for new instructors to meet the No Limits Development team and discover what we do and how we do it. The day is deigned to be informative yet informal with lots of opportunities for questions.
Instructor Training and Course Director training days:
These one day programme are an important aspect of working with No Limits Development as they ensure all instructors and Course Directors are up to date with No Limits programmes and have a consistent understanding about their role in terms of job role, customer service, leadership and development as well as the application of No Limits Policy and Procedures.
Working closely with up and coming talent we provide great development through our trainee instructor scheme by giving opportunities to shadow experienced instructors on a variety of programmes, free training and paid work.
Run in conjunction with the DofE this programme provides the opportunity for new Expedition Assessors to have their training, skills and learning accredited by the DofE and nationally recognised. The programme has been designed to provide Expedition Assessors with a clear and consistent understanding of their role and responsibilities.
Training for the IOL assessment covers instructional techniques and gives higher level of background knowledge to increase confidence in delivering the subject to participants helping them to learn to live with nature, enjoy and respect the environment and push their boundaries.
A 2 part programme run by local wildlife and conservation experts designed to give our instructors the practical skills and knowledge to enable you to run engaging and informative programmes for participants that cover a range of wildlife, and environmental areas.
