Wild Adventure Challenge

An extremely unique and rewarding experience set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK.

Wild Adventure Challenge is our flagship programme which combines challenging outdoor activities with real conservation projects.  The result of which is a truly outstanding and unique outdoor education experience.

Why is the Challenge unique?
Under the guidance and supervision of highly trained and qualified staff, students are completely self-sufficient for the entire programme. They plan, shop for and cook their own meals, take responsibility for themselves and others within the group and develop a range of personal skills including teamwork, leadership and communication.  Students also come away with a greater sense of self confidence, and an improved understanding of the benefits of exercise and healthy living.

What is included in the Challenge?
Wild Adventure Challenge is a 5 day programme.  In addition to outdoor activities students learn about local history, its natural environment, flora, fauna, wildlife and land management.  They also gain valuable life skills including respect, care and friendship.

The programme also offers students the opportunity to complete the Discovery Level for the John Muir Award through practical tasks such as tree planting.

What is the duration of the Challenge?
We currently offer these challenging and rewarding 5 day programmes from 2 stunningly beautiful locations.

  • Alladale in the Highlands of Scotland
  • Ennerdale in the Lake District.
